The Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC) is the centre responsible for ensuring the efficient organisation of search and rescue services and coordinating search and rescue operations in a Search and Rescue Region (SRR). 

Maritime Rescue Sub-Centre (MRSC) is the Centre subordinate to a Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre and complementary to the latter in accordance with the specific provisions of the responsible authorities.

A Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) is an organization responsible for coordinating search and rescue operations in a specified area, ensuring safety and efficiency in emergencies. JRCC is commonly used in maritime and aviation contexts, where it plays a crucial role in responding to distress signals and organizing rescue missions across various regions.
