Cancellation of Registered Place by Delegate

Cancellation of registration at least three months prior to the event will receive a full refund of the registration fee. 

Cancellation of registration between two and three months prior to the event will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee.

There will be no refund of registration fee for cancellations after two months prior to the event.

Cancellation of Accommodation

The IMRF is not responsible for making, changing or cancelling any accommodation bookings for event delegates. Delegates are responsible for informing the hotel directly if they cancel their attendance to the event, or require changes to any accommodation bookings that they have already made. Please also check the hotel’s own cancellation policy before you book.

Live Exercise

Delegates taking part in a possible live exercise element of the event do so entirely at their own risk. Participants may be expected to fill in a medical form at the beginning of the event.  

Insurance

The IMRF insurance does not cover any activity involving boats or any form of rescue craft. Therefore, it is the participants’ responsibility to ensure that they have adequate insurance coverage if such activities are part of the event. Participants are also expected to have their own travel insurance.

Liability disclaimer

By participating in this event, attendees acknowledge and accept that they participate at their own risk. The organisers are not liable for any injuries, illnesses, accidents, or losses that occur before, during, or after the event. Participants are responsible for their own medical expenses should they become ill or injured while attending the event. Participants hereby release, waive, and discharge the event organisers from any and all claims or causes of action arising from participation in the event, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct by the organisers. Participants are encouraged to obtain their own health, accident, and liability insurance to cover any potential risks associated with participation in the event. Organisers will make reasonable efforts to ensure a safe environment and will establish emergency procedures. Participants are expected to comply with any safety instructions provided by the event organisers. Participation in the event indicates the participant’s acknowledgment and acceptance of the terms of this liability disclaimer. The term organisers above includes the event host(s).
