Our Community

We have 130 members in over 50 countries. Our Membership covers maritime SAR organisations, coastguards, life-saving agencies, government departments, as well as industry suppliers and commercial companies, and more. We are always looking to reach out to SAR organisations, no matter where they are in the world, to join the IMRF community so we can continue to help more people save lives at sea.

Our Membership Categories

Full Membership	Associate Membership	Affiliate Membership
Open to any organisation which provides maritime search and/or rescue services by prior agreement with the authority responsible for search and rescue within the relevant region, if any.	For commercial companies, service providers and manufacturers with an interest in the provision of maritime SAR or the promotion of water safety such as commercial maritime SAR equipment providers.	Affiliate Membership shall be available to the following organisations: subsidiaries of Full Member organisation, organisations whose prime purpose is the promotion of Water Safety; or organisation which is planning to provide a maritime search and/or rescue service or function in the future.
