IMRF Awards 2020 Postponed - But Plans Are Already in Place for 2021
Governments around the world have imposed restrictions on work and travel, as they try to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
These restrictions may differ in severity from country to country, and governments will lift these restrictions at different times and to different degrees according to their national circumstances.
This ongoing uncertainty has caused many organisations to review any events that had been planned to take place during the rest of 2020 - and IMRF is no exception.
After careful consideration of all the options, the IMRF Trustees have decided to postpone the IMRF Awards 2020 until 2021 and any nominations already submitted will be rolled over into an extended qualifying period for the IMRF Awards 2021.
This is obviously disappointing, but we are confident that it is the right decision in the circumstances.
The good news is that we have already booked HQS Wellington in London for Tuesday, 7 September 2021, for the IMRF Awards Lunch 2021.
This means that, once again, the Awards will be held under the umbrella of London International Shipping Week.
More details will follow in due course ...
